Review of the ASTRO Gaming A50 Wireless
If you’re looking for a high-quality gaming headset, the Astro A50 is a great choice. Its adjustable audio settings allow you to tailor your sound experience, and you can easily adjust volume and EQ levels. The headset also has on-cup touch controls so you can adjust your audio and microphone accordingly. If you’re a PC gamer, the Astro A50 will help you stay in tune with your surroundings.
The Astro A50 Wireless is the fourth-generation of Astro’s high-end gaming headset. It features wireless gaming, a base station for easy charging, and switchability between PC and PlayStation 4. We tried the Astro A50 Wireless for our review, and we were pleasantly surprised by the sound and design of the headset. Regardless of the console, it is easy to see why this gaming headset is so popular. But do be sure to check out our full review to learn more.
Sound quality
The Astro Gaming A50 Wireless offers a good amount of control over the audio quality. There are multiple EQ settings and a wide range of microphone pickup levels. You can even set the sound equalizer to adjust the bass level. The headset also includes ear cushions and a synthetic leather headband to give your ears a more comfortable fit. To further customize your audio experience, you can also purchase the optional ASTRO Mod Kit for the A50 Wireless Headset.
The Astro A50 comes with a 3.5mm cable that is compatible with all the popular wireless headphones. The cord is tangle-free and features a retractable cable. The ASTRO A50 comes with a two-year warranty. The headphones come with a free Dolby Atmos activation code for the Xbox version. The Astro A50 is also equipped with the Astro Command Center software, which gives you complete control over your audio experience. This software supports Windows 7, Mac OS, and Windows 8.
Build quality
The Astro A50 Wireless is an excellent choice for gamers who want to experience surround sound without the expense of a high-end gaming headset. Its sleek design includes a built-in microphone and malleable plastic stem, although the earpieces don’t have foam protection for extra comfort. This gaming headset’s 40mm drivers provide a clear and immersive soundscape, and even though it only has two speakers, it offers an incredibly close experience to surround sound.
The build quality of the ASTRO A50 Wireless is quite good. It has a sleek design and is easier to handle than its predecessor. The buttons on the headset are more tactile and are easy to reach, and the headset is slightly smaller than its predecessor. The headset comes with a dial to adjust its master volume, while the base station also comes with a robust PC and Xbox app. It’s also very comfortable to wear, with the A50’s headband fitting comfortably in the hand.
Price
The Astro Gaming A50 Wireless price is just under $350, which is a bit on the high side. If you’re looking for a good gaming headset with Bluetooth connectivity, look no further. While there are some problems with the wireless connection, it works fine for PC games like Overwatch, Risk of Rain 2, and Doom Eternal. For a less expensive headset with Bluetooth, check out the Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Aero or Razer Nari Essential. These are both great headsets that offer good sound and Bluetooth connectivity.
The ASTRO Gaming A50 Wireless price range varies widely and should be based on where you live. It should be available for purchase on 12 June 2020. The headset is also available in India, and the company is boosting its audio offerings. Soon, it will launch in India with AI Beamforming microphones. In the meantime, it is still available online. There are a few alternatives to this headset at this price, including the SteelSeries Arctis 7 and the Audeze Mobius. Neither of these is a great buy, but both are decent options for gamers who spend a few hours on their PCs.
SteelSeries Arctis 5 Headset
- Arctis 5 combines cutting-edge audio technology with independent game and chat controls and RGB illumination for an immersive gaming experience
- Award-winning Arctis speaker drivers produce ultra-low distortion, paired with DTS Headphone:X v2.0 surround sound for rich, immersive audio
- Widely recognized as the best mic in gaming, Arctis ClearCast bidirectional microphone delivers studio quality voice clarity and background noise cancelation. Share Jack: Yes
- The inline USB ChatMix dial balances game audio and chat volume on-the-fly; Microphone Sensitivity: -48 db
- Padded Air Weave ear cushions and adjustable, steel-reinforced headband provide longlasting comfort and durability
The SteelSeries Arctis 5 is a headset that combines performance and aesthetics. It features a retractable microphone and a sleek black aesthetic with a contrasting RGB ring. The headset is also equipped with a volume wheel and inputs. With the SteelSeries Engine 3 software, you can tweak the EQ, lights, and other settings to give you the perfect listening experience.
The SteelSeries Arctis 5 is also very comfortable. It has padded ear cups and soft fabric around the frame. The adjustable ski-band and headband also distribute weight evenly. However, they can be a little tight for some users. Fortunately, the headset can be ordered with leather padding, which improves its comfort and ease of use.
The SteelSeries Arctis 5’s audio quality is good. The headphones deliver crisp and clear sound. However, the bass is overemphasized. The low-end extends to 10Hz and follows the neutral target curve very well. It also reproduces bass-heavy genres such as dubstep and EDM well. The mid-bass, on the other hand, provides the punchy bass guitar sound, while the high-bass delivers the warmth of kick drums. Although it’s important to note that the treble delivery is variable among users, the Arctis 5 delivers a good sound.
Another notable feature of the SteelSeries Arctis 5 is its adjustable headband. The headband can be easily removed, which is nice because it doesn’t interfere with your movement. You can even purchase a headband in a different color or design for an additional $15.
Sennheiser HD 598
- Premium, around-ear, open back headphones: Audiophile sound combined with premium design and materials
- Padded headband and luxurious velour covered ear pads perfect for long listening sessions with no pressure on the ears
- Multiple connectivity options: Robust 3 meter detachable cable and 6.3 millimeter jack and additional 1.2 meter detachable cable with 3.5 millimeter Jack
- Timeless design cues: Ivory color, matte finish together with the brown headband stitching and matte metallic detail convey quality at first glance
- Premium Components: Sennheiser engineered transducers use aluminum voice coils delivering high efficiency, excellent dynamics and extremely low distortion
The Sennheiser HD598 Gaming Headset is a high-end headphone that delivers superb audio quality. It comes in a stylish black and red “altar” box that measures 205 x 100 x 240 mm. Its box contains a brown headphone, three-meter-long detachable 4-strand OFC copper cable, 6.3 mm stereo jack, and 3.5mm adapter. The cable has a simple lock mechanism and is not particularly long.
The Sennheiser HD 598 features ergonomic acoustic refinement technology. This ensures that audio signals are directed straight to your ears. The result is a truly immersive experience. The Sennheiser HD 598’s design is also appealing, with soft replaceable ear pads. The HD 598 weighs 269 grams. The headphones’ ear-cups are covered with velour.
Sound quality: The HD 598 is among the best-sounding gaming headsets. It offers crisp, clear audio. However, noise handling is below average. Although the Sennheiser HD 598 does a decent job of battling its competitors, it’s not ideal for sports enthusiasts, who may want to move their hands while playing a game. Furthermore, the headphones don’t provide good stability when performing sports and suffer from severe sound leakage. As a result, it’s not recommended for casual TV watching.
Sennheiser HD 598 Headphones feature a leatherette headband and velour ear pads. They are also comfortable and have a surprisingly good amount of sound. The HD 598s are a great choice for gamers and those who like to look stylish. The high-quality leatherette headband and ear pads are a plus. The Sennheiser HD 598 Gaming Headset can be purchased at a reasonable price.
The HD 598 is a slightly better option than the HD 600, and they don’t clamp your head. However, the HD 598 has a more accurate sound reproduction and a more comfortable fit than the HD 600. The Sennheiser HD 598 also comes with a cable. However, it’s not recommended for intense physical activity. And it doesn’t sound as crisp as the HD 600.
SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless Headphones
- Features steelseries’ lossless 24ghz wireless for ultra-low latency wireless connectivity on ps4 and pc; headphone sensitivity: 98 dbspl
- Take the same gaming-grade wireless on the go using the compact and portable usb-c dongle on your nintendo switch or lite, and android phones
- Detachable clearcast noise canceling microphone with natural sounding clarity, discord certified
- Same high-performance speaker drivers as the multi-award winning arctis 7
- Steel-reinforced headband for a perfect fit and lasting durability
The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless headphones come in a matte black finish. They come with a steel logo and polygon design, adjustable steel band, and black plastic headband with a pleather cushion. These headphones are extremely comfortable and will fit snugly around your head. Battery life is impressive, too, at around 8 hours. If you’re serious about gaming, this headset is worth its weight in gold.
Sound quality
The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless features an audio system with 16-bit resolution and 48kHz sampling rate. Its microphone features a bi-directional design and steel reinforced headband. The SteelSeries Engine software allows you to tweak audio settings, such as mic level and sidetone control. The result is a well-balanced sound quality that’s suitable for gaming.
Comfort
The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless is a wireless gaming headset that adds USB-C connectivity to the basic wired version. It is compatible with all Nintendo Switch models and works on most PCs, Macs and even some smartphones. It also includes a secondary 3.5mm cable connection. Its basic build quality is the same as the wired version. However, some users might prefer the wired version.
Noise isolation
The SteelSeries Arctis-1 Wireless headphones are not for those who love noise isolation. They have subpar passive soundstage and don’t achieve speaker-like isolation. They also lack ANC technology, meaning you can hear your pinna interaction. While these headphones do a decent job of noise isolation, they’re not going to be able to block out loud urban sounds. So you’ll need to consider the other features when buying.
Battery life
The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless is the best wireless headphone under $100. Its minimalist design features thin cushions on each earcup and a sleek headband. The headset is painted a matte black color to prevent it from looking overly flashy. It is also lightweight and comfortable to wear. For an under-$100 headphone, it offers excellent audio quality and a long battery life.
Compatibility
The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless gaming headset is compatible with the Nintendo Switch, which is one of the few systems that allows for wireless voice chat. The headset works with almost any other gaming console and mobile device, as well. The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless can also be used wired with most other products, including Xbox One and older iPhone models. While the wireless version does not come with a lightning adapter, it works with many of the popular games available for these systems.
Razer BlackShark V2 Wired Gaming Headset
- The #1 Best-Selling Gaming Peripherals Brand: Source – The NPD Group, Inc. U.S. Retail Tracking Service: Gaming Keyboards, Gaming Mice, Gaming Headsets, Gaming Peripherals; Based on dollar sales, Jan-Sept. 2021 combined
- Immersive, 7.1 Surround Sound for Positional Audio: Outfitted with custom-tuned 50mm drivers, capable of software-enabled surround sound (only available on Windows 10 64-bit). Pick-up Pattern: Unidirectional. Cable Length 4.27 ft. / 1.3m
- Triforce Titanium 50mm High-End Sound Drivers: Outfitted with cutting-edge, 50mm drivers divided into 3 parts for individual tuning of highs, mids, and lows

- Razer Hyperclear Cardioid Mic: Improved pickup pattern ensures more voice and less noise as it tapers off towards the mic’s back and sides
I’m going to be reviewing the Razer BlackShark V2 wired gaming headset in this article. I’ll be comparing it to the HyperX Cloud 2/Cloud II and comparing its sound quality and battery life. I’ll also talk about the Razer Synapse software, which allows you to adjust the EQ for optimal gaming sound. Let’s begin! What’s So Great About the Razer BlackShark V2?
Review of Razer BlackShark V2
A Review of Razer BlackShark V2 shows that this gaming headset can make any game sound great. The THX Spatial Audio technology is an added bonus for shooters and other game genres. This technology allows you to pinpoint the source of sound so you can better identify enemy locations. Unlike other gaming headsets that require USB sound cards, the Razer BlackShark V2 has two modes: immersive and online. While it’s nice to have surround sound, you can live with stereo for the majority of games.
Comparison to HyperX Cloud 2/Cloud II
The Cloud II is a good overall option for gaming, and its price is comparable to other premium headphones in its price range. Its base headphones are leatherette with velour ear pads, and it comes with a four-pole 3.5mm audio cable and detachable mic. Its sound quality is decent, but the Cloud II lacks the cloud-like surround sound experience. The Cloud II also has a better connection to your PC.
Sound quality
If you’re looking for a decent pair of headphones that deliver good bass response and midrange clarity, consider the Razer BlackShark V2. You can adjust the sensitivity of the microphone and take advantage of THX Spatial Audio, which is simulated surround sound. You can also find controls for voice clarity, midrange accuracy, and ambient noise reduction. The bass is punchy, and the headset’s titanium driver coating adds to the clarity of the sound. The overall soundstage is wide, and there’s no harshness.
Battery life
The battery life of the Razer Synapse 3 is great. It is capable of lasting up to 24 hours of gaming on a single charge. The Razer Synapse 3 doesn’t display battery percentages, but rather a small battery icon. When the battery reaches 30%, it turns red, and at 10%, it blinks. The battery indicator also provides an overall indication of how long the headset is expected to last.
Noise isolation
The Razer BlackShark V2 noise isolation headphones are a good example of the sound quality Razer has come to be known for. While they are priced competitively for the level of isolation they offer, the bass notes are underemphasized. This deviates from the typical consumer curve for gaming headphones. As a result, you’ll hear enemy footsteps and explosions much more clearly than with a traditional gaming headset.
Logitech G432 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset
- Enjoy expansive cinematic sound. Big 50 mm audio drivers deliver an incredible sound experience
- Hear Enemies From All Sides: DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround sound(1) lets you hear enemies sneaking behind you, special ability cues, and immersive environments. It’s positional clarity that can make the difference between victory and defeat. Experience three-dimensional audio that goes beyond 7.1 channels to make you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. (1) DTS Headphone:X 2.0 requires Logitech G HUB Software.
- Be Heard Loud and Clear: The big 6 mm boom mic makes sure you’re heard by gaming partners and mutes when flipped up.
- Use One Headset For Most Game Platforms: Your headphones work with your PC or Mac via USB DAC or 3.5 mm cable, mobile devices with 3.5 mm cable or with gaming consoles including PlayStationⓇ 5 and PlayStationⓇ 4 (USB wireless stereo sound only), Nintendo Switch (wireless stereo sound when docked)
- Game for Hours in Comfort: Everything about these headphones is about comfort: The deluxe lightweight leatherette ear cups and headband are made to keep pressure off your ears. Ear cups rotate up to 90 degrees for convenience.
The Logitech G432 is a 7.1 surround sound gaming headset. In this review we will examine the price, sound quality, and design. This headset has been the subject of many reviews, but this one stands out for a couple of reasons. In addition to being a great value, the Logitech G432 offers many other benefits that make it worth checking out. Hopefully you’ll find this review helpful in your decision-making process.
Logitech G432 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset
The Logitech G432 7.1 Surrounded Sound Gaming Headset comes with great features for PC gaming. Despite its name, it can work well with games on both the Xbox 360 and PC, and it offers surround sound as well. However, if you are using this headset with a console, you may want to consider buying an adapter for your console. In this article, we’ll look at the pros and cons of this headset.
The G432 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming headphone features 50 mm drivers, DTS Headphone:X 2.0, a large 6mm mute microphone, and multi-platform compatibility. The G432’s design is not exactly futuristic, but it’s better than a lot of gaming headsets available on the market. The G432’s ear cups also rotate 90 degrees for maximum comfort and convenience. Furthermore, it has a flip-to-mute boom, which allows you to be heard while not talking in a game.
Review by SoundGuys
For a gaming headset, the Logitech G432 is one of the few options on the market. A sister site to GamePro, SoundGuys offers a detailed review of the Logitech G432, a new headset that is aimed at gamers who want a relatively inexpensive option and don’t care about premium construction and software. These headphones are also a great option for kids who want to get into the world of gaming, and parents who are looking for something more affordable for them.
The Logitech G432 is a gaming headset that is designed for gamers who want to get into the genre. It has a nice set of audio features, but it does have a dated, plastic build. While a decent headset for a mid-tier budget, it doesn’t match the sound quality of the G430. Despite the similarities, the G432 is not as good as the G430 or the Corsair HS60 Pro Surround. Despite the shortcomings of the Logitech G430, this headset is still worth considering.
Sound quality
While the bass delivery of Logitech G432 headphones is decent, it varies from user to user, so don’t expect perfect consistency. Bass will also depend on fit, glasses, and seal. On the plus side, the mid-range is excellent and the headphones have a flat response. There is a small underemphasis at about 10kHz, which might sound harsh to some users. But overall, they’re not bad headphones.
The G432 features good voice recognition and detailed mid and high-range frequencies, which will let you hear the voice over loud explosions and thousands of bullets flying by your eardrums. The headphones also feature noise-cancelling technology, so you can distinguish your voice from ambient noise. For gamers who want to immerse themselves in gaming, this is the right headset. And with its reasonable price tag, you can’t go wrong.
Price
The Logitech G432 is one of the best gaming headsets you can buy for under $100. It has detailed mid and high-range frequencies, making it possible to hear your voice over thousands of bullets passing by your ear. Even if you have the best graphics card in the world, you can’t match the clarity of sound unless you have the best audio setup. The G432 is a good option if you’re on a budget, but it is overshadowed by the competition, some of which are even cheaper.
The Logitech G432 is a good headset for PC gamers who don’t want to spend a fortune. The headset has many features that make it a solid choice for gamers and parents alike. It also has a volume dial on the left ear cup, which feels a little dated. Then again, Logitech isn’t trying to compete with sleek designs, so the accents are more refined and provide a nice aesthetic. But overall, the headset feels like it’s stuck in the same mold as most other gaming headsets, which makes it a good choice for casual gamers.
Razer Kraken X Headset
- Immersive, 7 1 surround sound for positional audio: outfitted with custom-tuned 40 mm drivers, capable of software-enabled surround sound when used for pc gaming only (download code slip inside the box)
- Designed for all-day comfort: the lightest kraken headset ever at 250 grams, around 40% lighter than the competition sensitivity is 109 db (1 khz)
- Bendable noise cancelling microphone: a cardioid mic reduces background and ambient noises for crystal-clear communication connection type: usb type a
- In-headset audio controls: includes an analog volume control wheel and mic mute switch on the headset for quick and convenient adjustments
- Durable construction: the kraken x frame is flexible and built to last, able to withstand daily, care-free use
If you’re looking for a gaming headset that’s inexpensive but of premium quality, consider the Razer Kraken X. The headset comes packaged in a sturdy box, complete with Razer logos and a sample headset. The box also demonstrates the headset’s features. This headset is also very sturdy, covered in solid plastic and shipped via online shipping. We’ll examine the features of this headset and give you an overall opinion of its quality.
Razer Kraken X is a budget gaming headset
The Razer Kraken X is a fairly inexpensive gaming headset. The cord is a stiff rubber instead of a silky braided one that’s comfortable and flexible. The headphones’ cups are also stiff and don’t breathe well, causing sweaty ears in hot weather. The headphones’ buttons are a bit awkward, as they’re located on the left side of the ear. It’s also hard to click the mute button, which is annoying and unintuitive.
It has a good mic
If you are looking for a wired gaming headset, you can’t go wrong with the Razer Kraken X. The headset is comfortable to wear and features 40mm dynamic drivers that reproduce sound in three dimensions. The microphone is an excellent boom mic, but its placement tends to amplify voices. You can adjust the microphone’s position to place it farther away from your mouth, but you may still need to compensate for ambient noise.
It has a mic-mute button
If your Razer Kraken X headset lacks a mic-mute button, you may want to check if your microphone is connected properly. If it is, you may have loose connections or the microphone is set to the wrong audio output. Other potential causes include a damaged headset cable, a faulty mic, or software or hardware problems. If you’re experiencing problems with your Razer Kraken headset microphone, try running the application as system administrator. This will give you full access to all parts of your system, including the microphone.
It has a volume dial
The Razer Kraken X has a USB connection, which is not common for gaming headphones. It uses a USB connection to power the headset. The headphones have a Razer logo-shaped LED on the front of each ear cup, and faux leather padding and memory foam cushions. The audio performance is great, but the sound quality can be better. You may want to consider buying a new pair if you need a high-end headset for gaming.
It has an open-back design
The Razer Kraken X is an excellent wired gaming headset. Its comfortable open-back design provides excellent sound quality and it has a great boom microphone that will help ensure that your teammates can hear you clearly. The sound profile of the Kraken X is bass heavy and the control scheme is simple. If you’re a PC or Mac gamer, you might prefer this headset instead of its wired counterpart.
The SteelSeries Arctis 7P Wireless Gaming Headset
- NEODYMIUM MAGNETIC DRIVERS — Hear everything you want with an ultra-detailed soundscape of crystal clear highs, pinpoint mids, and deep bass *Fully compatible with Tempest 3D Audio for PS5 / Microsoft Spatial Sound
- DUAL AUDIO STREAMS — Connect your mobile device directly for on-the-go audio or mix in calls or music with your game audio when at home
- MULTI-PLATFORM WIRELESS — Instant, lossless wireless on your PC, PlayStation, Switch or tablet with a portable USB-C dongle (USB-C to USB-A cable also included)
- 38-HR BATTERY LIFE — Quickly jump back in with USB-C Fast Charge, giving 6 hours of play after a 15 min charge
- 360° SPATIAL AUDIO — Hear everything from every direction for full immersion and situational awareness; compatible with Tempest 3D Audio
The SteelSeries Arctis 7P wireless gaming headset is a solid option if you want to maximize your audio performance while playing your favorite video games. The headset’s battery life is adequate and its portability is also an asset. However, it doesn’t have the same functionality as the wired version. You will have to purchase an adapter if you plan on playing games on multiple platforms.
Features
The Arctis 7P headset offers excellent bass response, but is slightly underemphasized in the low-treble region. This can compromise the comprehensibility of vocals. In addition, this headset is overemphasized in the mid-treble region, causing it to sound nasal. Another issue with this headset is that it is sensitive to fit. For these reasons, the Arctis 7P is a good choice for bass-heavy EDM tracks.
The SteelSeries Arctis 7P is backwards-compatible with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It uses lossless 2.4-GHz wireless audio to provide ultra-low latency gaming audio. The headset has a twenty-four-hour battery life and easy on-headset controls. The Arctis 7P features a steel headband and an adjustable elastic ski goggle band for a secure fit. The steel headband is also durable and will provide hours of gaming enjoyment.
Price
If you’re looking for a new gaming headset, you might be interested in the SteelSeries Arctis 7P. The Arctis 7P features a lower frequency response than other headsets, which means they are ideal for bass-heavy EDM tracks, but they’re not so good for quieter rhythm guitar and vocal parts. You might also want to consider the Arctis 7P+ instead, which features more bass-centric sounds.
At under $200, the Arctis 7P+ is a great headset for a gamer on a budget. It’s comfortable to wear and has a wide range of functions, from PS5 and PC gaming to meetings at work. The headset features useful companion software and a retractable noise-cancelling microphone. The overall build quality of the headset is good, and its features are a definite plus for a gaming headset.
Battery life
If you’re looking for a wireless gaming headset, you may want to consider the SteelSeries Arctis 7P. The headphones are made of breathable fabric and feature a suspension band. While not soft like velour, they do offer good comfort and keep the heat down while still keeping a tight seal on the ear canals. One downside to these headphones is that they don’t have a carrying case.
The SteelSeries Arctis 7P offers an excellent battery life. While it’s advertised to last for 30 hours, we measured the battery life at 60 hours, which is a solid amount. Another upside to this headset is that you can use it passively while charging. The Arctis 7P features SteelSeries GG software, which lets you customize the sound to match your preferences, so you can enjoy immersive gaming. While this headset doesn’t support surround sound on PC, it’s a great choice for gamers who want to experience the surround sound of PS5.
Portability
The portability of the SteelSeries Arctis 7P is an excellent feature, but the microphone does have some issues. While the microphone can be adjusted to produce a more natural sound, this headset doesn’t deliver as clear a sound as its competitors. Its bass response isn’t particularly strong, but it’s enough to hear your game’s sounds, and it’s certainly not too bad for Fortnite.
The SteelSeries Arctis 7P’s audio response is excellent for bass-heavy EDM tracks, but it falls short in vocals and other low frequencies. The treble is flat and well-balanced, though vocals are overemphasized in some tracks. Its portability and lightweight design make it perfect for travel. However, if you’re looking for the ultimate in comfort and portability, you should go with a higher-end headset.

Dual chamber 50mm drivers
The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless gaming headset uses custom-designed Dual Chamber Technology to deliver low, mid, and high frequencies separately. This is complemented by DTS Headphone:X Spatial Audio, which enhances the experience by providing precise localization. In addition, the custom-designed 50mm drivers produce the same high-quality sound as the wired model. With such a wide frequency response, the Cloud Alpha Wireless is the perfect choice for competitive gamers.
Durable aluminum frame
The Cloud Alpha Wireless features a durable aluminum frame and an award-winning red memory foam headband. They are comfortable to wear with detachable microphones and audio controls. They are compatible with TeamSpeak, Skype, Ventrilo, Mumble, and other VOIP programs. Unlike some other wireless headphones, the Cloud Alpha is compatible with PCs and other platforms with a 3.5mm port.
Removable microphone
The Cloud Alpha Wireless comes with a removable microphone, which makes it possible to customize the sound to match your gaming style. This headset is multiplatform compatible and comes with in-line audio controls. It is compatible with PS4 and Xbox One, as well as other platforms with a 3.5mm audio port. It is also compatible with various gaming platforms, including Fortnite, Call of Duty, and World of Warcraft.
300-hour battery life
One of the most impressive features of the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless is its 300-hour battery life. Unlike most other wireless headsets, this one boasts no exterior lights or RGB lighting. This makes it possible to play music for as long as three weeks and still have a full battery life. Its battery life may be slightly less than this, but it is still nearly twice as long as the closest competitor.
Multi-platform compatibility
The multi-platform compatibility of HyperX Cloud Alpha Bluetooth headphones allows for compatibility with a wide range of platforms, including PCs and gaming consoles. The Bluetooth headset’s in-line audio controls also enable the user to adjust the volume and track pause. This headset supports PCs, PS4 and Xbox One and other platforms with a 3.5mm audio port. If you’re looking for a wireless Bluetooth headset with mic, look no further than the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless.
Sound quality
The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless headphones deliver solid bass, despite a slightly v-shaped sound profile. They have a low wireless latency, and the headphones’ battery life is great. They’re good for gaming, but not ideal for physical exercise. The headphones’ sound is flat and undistorted, but they may drown out vocals and other sounds when you’re moving around. We’ve found the sound quality to be inconsistent, but that can be countered with EQ.
Razer Nari Ultimate
- 3 MODES OF CONNECTIVITY — From PC to console to phone, enjoy full audio immersion with ultra-fast 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or stay plugged in for non-stop gaming via USB wired connection
- RETRACTABLE HYPERCLEAR SUPER WIDEBAND MIC — This next-gen retractable microphone covers a wider frequency of sound and captures an incredible amount of voice detail so that everything said sounds clear, rich, and natural
- TRIFORCE TITANIUM 40 MM DRIVERS — Razer patented 3-part driver design pushes out exceptional highs, mids, and lows that don’t muddy, providing a more dynamic listening experience for deeper immersion
- THX SPATIAL AUDIO — With our advanced 7.1 surround sound, enjoy true-to-life acoustics that optimize the game’s sound design and hear everything as if you were right in the middle of it all
- QUICK GAME/CHAT MIX & VOLUME BALANCE — Easily switch between adjusting overall volume or game/chat mix and get the right balance of game audio and voice comms even in the chaos of battle
The Razer Nari Ultimate gaming headset is a good wireless option for gamers who don’t need the extra weight or stability of other wireless models. Its haptic feedback feature and RGB lighting set it apart from other similar headsets, and it is also much more comfortable to use than the Razer Kraken V3 Pro Wireless. In all, it is one of the best wireless gaming headsets on the market today, both for PC and PS4.
The Razer Nari Ultimate gaming headset is compatible with the Xbox Series X. Its innovative THX Spatial Audio technology and intelligent haptics add a sense of realism to your gaming experience. You can balance the volume of game and chat audio and adjust the intensity of haptic feedback based on the sounds you hear in the game. You can also control the haptic feedback level according to the environment.
While the Razer Kraken V3 HyperSense headphones are good at delivering sound, they are inconsistent in their bass response. Their frequency response is sensitive to thick hair and glasses, so you should check for a good fit before purchasing. If you’re concerned about your hearing, you can even get a pair of glasses for a better fit. If you’re not too concerned about comfort, you can buy this headset.
The sound quality is excellent, but some users complain about the overpowering haptics. In high-octane shooters, this headset is a bit more sensitive to lower frequencies. While this may sound good in theory, it isn’t always practical to use during high-paced gaming. As such, you should keep it away from other activities so it doesn’t interfere with your gaming experience. So, consider buying a pair of Razer Nari Ultimate gaming headsets.
The wireless connection of the Razer Nari Ultimate is good. The device connects wirelessly to PCs and gaming consoles, but it is not suitable for devices without a USB port. The device is also compatible with smartphones and other devices with 3.5mm audio jacks. The wireless range of the Razer Nari Ultimate is approximately 12 metres. Its mic is retractable and malleable, and the sound quality is very good.

Build quality
The ASTRO Gaming A40 TR is a large, stereo wired headset that comes in either black or white. It is compatible with PCs and PlayStation consoles, and also works with newer Xbox One controllers. The design of the headset is aggressive and “gamer.” Although the build quality is solid, its overhanging edges can make handling the headset uncomfortable. Despite these drawbacks, the Astro Gaming A40 TR is well worth its price.
Sound quality
The Astro A40 is a gaming headset that offers great bass and excellent highs. The headset also bucks the trend of tinny, hollow gaming headsets. You can tweak the EQ to produce better overall sound quality. Although the headset does lack a flat EQ, it is still responsive to adjustments. The MixAmp on the Astro A40 is a major redesign compared to its predecessor. The MixAmp was previously positioned vertically with one massive volume dial and a smaller chat-mix dial.

Price
The Astro A40 TR is a gaming headset that connects to your console via the standard 3.5mm headphone jack. It is compatible with devices that support this standard, including the PlayStation 5 and PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Series S/X. It is easy to swap out the panels and change the positioning of them, too. You can also buy replacement panels from Astro’s website. The price of the Astro Gaming A40 TR Wired depends on the features of the product, so you may want to consider the value of that for your budget.

The Arctis 7X is equipped with a dongle that is a bit larger than that of the Arctis 7P. This design allows the headset to be compatible with Xbox wireless audio, but the Arctis 7P lacks a toggle. While the Audeze Penrose is a fantastic gaming headset, the Sony Pulse 3D is a little less powerful. Its design is fairly simple, but the surround effect is quite good. It does lack a boom microphone and other gaudier flourishes. That said, it is comfortable to wear, especially for prolonged gaming sessions. One of the most notable negatives is that it can draw unwanted attention when used outside the home.
The packaging of the Pulse 3D gaming headset is attractive and matches the aesthetics of the PlayStation 5. It comes in black and white, and is also available in Midnight Black, to match the DualSense controller. The headset itself looks like a standard wireless headset, with two foam cushioned cups that sit over the ears and are held in place by a flexible headband. The headset’s ear cushions can be adjusted, and the headphones come in a medium-sized box that is decorated with promotional information.
The Sony Pulse 3D has an integrated controller, which allows it to be connected to both PS4 and PS5. While it is marketed as a PS5 gaming headset, it also works with PCs. The headset can connect to PCs and PS5s through a 3.5 mm audio jack, but the connection is less convenient. You can still hear the audio through your PC if you muted the headset while playing on PC.
The Pulse 3D is lightweight and comfortable, with a rubberized suspension band that keeps it light on your head. On the left ear cup, there are buttons for volume and mute. The headset also comes with a USB-C charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack for listening to music. Its battery life is also impressive, and the price is well worth considering. This gaming headset will provide hours of fun on your next game.
Beyerdynamic MMX 100 Headphones
- Closed analogue gaming headset with 40 mm Beyerdynamic driver system for high resolution sound and precise sound location
- Meta Voice Cardioid Condenser Microphone with 9.9 mm capsule for natural voice reproduction
- Versatile connectivity thanks to an impedance of 32 ohms
- Volume dial and mute push button for fast and precise control of the volume
- Beyerdynamic design and high-quality materials for hours of wearing comfort
We’ll take a look at the price of Beyerdynamic MMX 100 headphones, sound quality, design and isolation performance. This headset is an excellent choice for gamers who are looking for headphones that don’t require a lot of setup. However, if you are not a gamer, you might want to look for a different option. We’ll also look at the MMX 100’s design, which is not unlike that of most gaming headsets.
Beyerdynamic MMX 100 price
The Beyerdynamic MMX 100 gaming headset has a classic aesthetic with gaming functionality. The aluminium band that holds the headset together ensures durability and premium looks. The ear cups have memory foam to prevent pressure points on your head. They are also removable with a simple bayonet mechanism. For those who want to use them for PC, the headset can be easily connected to the PC via its mic & headphone connection.
The Beyerdynamic MMX 100 gaming headset has excellent isolation performance for all your gaming needs. While the bass range is not the most prominent, you will not be drowned out by bass. The headset also outputs the sounds of enemies’ movement and speech. The MMX 100 also has good spatial localization, meaning you won’t need a separate headset for 3D audio. Whether you’re gaming in a noisy environment or at home, you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite games without a problem.
Beyerdynamic MMX 100 sound quality
The Beyerdynamic MMX 100 offers great audio quality when used with the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series, which are both excellent platforms for playing games. The microphone features a cardioid pattern, which helps it pick up your voice without muffling ambient noise. You can also pull the microphone away from your face to eliminate background noise. The microphone also works well with the PlayStation 5 spatial audio feature, which outputs enemy speech and movement sounds.
The Beyerdynamic MMX 100 lacks wireless connectivity, while the MMX 150 offers USB connectivity. It also features Augmented mode, which pipes in microphone sound to improve chatting. These headphones have a toggle button to turn off the microphone, a smooth-scrolling volume wheel, and built-in plastic plugs. Unlike other gaming headphones, you won’t need to use audio customization software to adjust the sound quality or volume.
Beyerdynamic MMX 100 design
The Beyerdynamic MMX 100 is a gaming headset with a simple design. It comes with a boom microphone that can be removed. It’s solidly built, with thick earpads and hinges. Buttons are placed well, and there’s a good button placement, too. This gaming headset is not for the audiophile. But it is great for casual gamers who don’t want to be tied to complicated setups.
The Beyerdynamic MMX 100 is similar to its predecessor. It uses a digital USB-C input instead of an analog one. You also get a USB-C to USB-A cable for your PC, as well as a 3.5mm to 3.5mm adapter for your device. The Beyerdynamic MMX 100 has a remarkably wide range of frequencies. For gaming, the frequency response is 5Hz to 30kHz.
Beyerdynamic MMX 100 isolation performance
The Beyerdynamic MMX 100 has an excellent isolation performance for a closed-back headphone. Its sound is especially detailed, representing large environments well. While the mid-bass is overpowering, the treble range is clear and sweet, delivering a pleasant listening experience. The MMX 100’s high-quality construction is a major selling point and should make a good choice for many gamers.
The Beyerdynamic MMX 100 is a good example of the type of music this headphone delivers. While the bass response is lacking in comparison to consumer-oriented headphones, it does deliver punchy, confident audio. Moreover, the mid-bass doesn’t overpower the vocals, allowing you to clearly hear them. The bass response isn’t as prominent as that of consumer-oriented headphones, but it doesn’t detract from the overall performance.

The 42mm Neodymium drivers used in the H6PRO are larger than the H3 drivers used in the previous models, adding extra low-end detail without distorting the overall audio output. The H6PRO’s frequency response ranges from 10-30,000Hz, delivering a wide variety of frequencies.

We recently reviewed the Logitech G635 gaming headphones in our review of the best headsets for gamers. In this article, we take a look at their isolation performance and price. We also discuss whether these headphones are worth the money and which one is best. After reading this review, we are ready to make a buying decision. But before we get started, let’s look at the specs of the G635 first.
Review of Logitech G635 gaming headphones
For gamers, the Logitech G635 7.1 – Gaming Headphones are a superb option. Their durable design and smooth curves make them comfortable to wear for hours on end. They also have a high-quality 50mm Pro-G driver to produce clear, deep sound at any volume. You can also use these headphones as a pair of headphones to take your gaming experience to the next level.
The Logitech G635 gaming headphones are very comfortable to wear, and they fit snugly around most people’s ears. Their large circumaural ear cups are comfortable and help prevent any pressure on soft tissue. These headphones are also washable. The headphones are not very portable, but they should fit around your gaming setup without any problems. The large cups also fit people with larger heads. If you plan to use them outdoors, you may want to purchase a pair of headphones with more portability.
Review of Logitech G633
The Logitech G633 is a wired headset with a virtual 7.1 surround sound. The Logitech G633 features customisable RGB lighting and 40mm drivers. It supports Dolby 7.1 and DTS Headphone:X and is compatible with Xbox ONE and PS4 games. It has a long wired USB connection and an audio cable that plugs into your computer. The microphone is extendable, measures four millimeters in diameter, and has a frequency response of 100Hz – 20KHz.
The Logitech G633 is the latest gaming headset in the Artemis Spectrum line. It has RGB lighting, 7.1 surround sound, and is suitable for PC, console, and console games. It is made of polycarbonate with a rubberized plastic shell. It supports cross-platform and is available in a variety of colors. For more information, visit the official website of Logitech. If you’re interested in purchasing one, read on.
Review of Logitech G635 isolation performance
A review of the isolation performance of the Logitech G635 headphones is in order. The G635 headphones have sub-par frequency response consistency. They exhibit a 16dB deviation from the optimum value at 20Hz, and the bass and treble ranges suffer slightly. This may be related to the shape of the cups. Nevertheless, the overall isolation performance is acceptable, and they are still worth considering for the price you’ll pay.
The Logitech G635 comes with an above-average boom mic, which separates speech from background noise. In addition, it offers crystal clear audio, and the included software makes it a convenient tool to use. Aside from its exceptional isolation performance, the G635 also offers long-lasting comfort. If you’re a big melon, this headset may not be the right one for you. However, it still offers a good balance between sound and comfort.
ASUS ROG Delta S
- Exclusive 50 mm ASUS Essence drivers and airtight chamber technology for immersive sound
- Virtual 7.1 surround sound supported by Windows Sonic
- Discord- and TeamSpeak-certified boom microphone for clear in-game voice communication
- Lightweight 270-gram design with ergonomic D-shaped ear cushions for long-lasting comfort
- 3.5 mm connector for compatibility with PCs, Macs, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and mobile devices
In this review, I’ll be discussing the design, build quality, and sound quality of the ASUS ROG Delta S. You can read my full review of the computer at the link below. I also touch on its portability and price. I hope you’ll find it informative. Until then, enjoy reading! We’ll be back in a few months to review the latest version of this gaming laptop. As always, you can follow us on social media to discuss our thoughts on the ASUS ROG Delta S.
Review
The ASUS ROG Delta S is a gaming monitor with powerful audio features. It has a powerful audio processor, but its default sound setting doesn’t always deliver the full picture. For example, the soundstage is too wide and the dialogue is often too sharp, so you’ll have to fiddle with the volume and bass controls to hear everything. It also sounds like it’s overexposed, which flattens the lower ranges. Still, this is a niche upgrade for PC players who want to experience high-quality sound without spending a fortune.
Design
As the successor of the original ROG Delta headset, the ASUS ROG Delta S features a new design. It has been reduced in size, but not in weight. The new headphones are just 10 ounces, instead of 13.7 ounces. The headband and the cups are fixed to the head using a magnetic clip, so you’re not bothered by awkward wires in your bag. As such, they’re more secure and comfortable to use.
Build quality
The build quality of the ASUS ROG Delta S wireless headset is very good. The headphones are remarkably comfortable, with ergonomic D-shaped earcups. Even though Asus has a history of aggressive design, this headset manages to keep itself visually inoffensive. It also weighs just 313g, and the plastic-heavy body feels solid. There are no wobbles or creaks, and the headphones return to their original shape after aggressive stretching.
Sound quality
The ASUS ROG Delta S gaming headset has excellent sound quality and is comfortable to wear. The RGB backlighting and built-in noise cancelling system add to its gaming experience. However, the headphones’ cable is not detachable, so they have to be sent back to the service if it breaks. Considering its price, the Delta S gaming headset is a great purchase for PC users. However, it is not a good choice for console users.
Price
With the ASUS ROG Delta S, ASUS has expanded its gaming headset lineup with a high-end design and impressive audio power. The new headset offers USB-C port connectivity, AI noise canceling microphone, and RGB-laden featherlight cups. It’s comfortable to wear and has some serious features that make it an impressive gaming headset. ASUS has kept the price of the ROG Delta S at a high point, and we’re confident that it will continue to be a top gaming headset.
Audeze Penrose X
The Audeze Penrose X gaming headset is a high-end option for gaming. Its 100mm planar magnetic drivers produce full-bodied audio with a wide soundstage.
The headphones are Bluetooth-enabled and have a dedicated 3.5mm analog jack for connecting to gaming consoles. This headset is compatible with both PCs and mobile phones and also features a USB dongle and a 2.4GHz adapter for use with smartphones and tablets. Bluetooth connectivity is compatible with most smartphones and tablets, and the headset is designed to be paired with multiple devices at once. The Penrose X has a dedicated control button on the side that allows you to answer and end calls. It also has a physical switch to enable or disable the microphone.
The Penrose X is designed for competitive gamers who want the highest quality audio possible. Its 100mm planar magnetic drivers offer exceptional frequency response and a wide soundstage. The audio is remarkably accurate with a frequency response ranging from 10Hz to 50kHz. Moreover, the headphones have a closed design, thereby shielding you from ambient noise. Its noise cancellation features are another highlight.
The range and clarity of the Penrose X headphones make it an excellent choice for gamers. Its bass drum is distinctly noticeable, and sampled vocals are well-balanced. The LCD-GX, however, delivers more pristine audio. Although the LCD-GX costs nearly three times the price of the Penrose X, it offers excellent sound quality for the money. This headset is a good choice for gamers who want to hear high-quality sound on a budget.

The headset is compatible with a variety of devices, including laptops, PCs, and smartphones. The headset is also Bluetooth-compatible. It can last up to 10 hours on a single charge.
The Mobius gaming headset has a good boom microphone for capturing speech, even in loud environments. The microphone is also capable of separating speech from background noise. The microphone also features a noise gate, so the sound does not cut out when the user is talking. The microphone is comfortable and has a noise-canceling function. While you may want to invest in a separate microphone to reduce the amount of noise you hear, the Mobius is worth the investment.
The Audeze Mobius also features Waves Nx 3D audio technology. This technology creates a virtual audio environment, simulating the speaker environment inside the headset. The microphones in the headset can measure head movement, so that audio is positioned more accurately. With the Audeze Mobius, head tracking is simple. The headset works with both gaming consoles and PCs. It is also compatible with mobile devices.
The Audeze Mobius comes with a boom microphone and USB-C cable, making it easy to connect to different devices. USB-C connections have an advantage over 3.5mm audio connectors, and the USB-C connection allows for more flexibility. The Mobius also offers Bluetooth connectivity. It has a USB-C connection, which is great if you have a computer with a USB-C port.
Audio-Technica ATH-G1 vs ATH-M50XBT Wireless Over-Ear Headphones
- Large-diameter 45 mm drivers are specially tuned to bring audio-technical studio-quality sound to the gaming world
- High max Input capacity (1,300 mW) ensures a lively, full-force gaming experience
- State-of-the-art, flexible (and detachable) Boom microphone, with highly directional pickup, provides crystal-clear in-game voice communication
- 2.0 M (6.6′) attached cable with gold-plated stereo mini-plug includes a simple volume control and locking microphone mute switch for one-hand operation
- Compatible with PS5, Xbox Series X, laptops, PCs, and other gaming devices with a standard 3.5 mm TRRS headset connector or with a separate mic input and headphone output
The Audio-Technica ATH-G1 headphones are known for their high-quality audio and gaming sound. They are similar in terms of packaging, having the same model on the front, but each has its own unique selling point. This article will discuss the main differences between the two models, including their technical specifications, internal differences, and additional features. We’ll also look at the Bass boost feature, which makes boom sounds appear louder, and the Hybrid ear pads.
Bass boost makes boom sounds seem louder
Using an audio-technica ATH-G1 gaming headset is a great way to experience the best sound quality possible while playing your favourite games. The headphones’ bass boost feature makes boom sounds sound more intense, but it also means that treble sounds are muffled. This is great for games where boom sounds are frequently heard, but it makes it harder to hear delicate sounds like the chirp of a bird.
Large-aperture 45mm drivers
If you’re looking for a new pair of headphones, Audio-Technica’s ATH-M50xBT wireless over-ear headphones may be the right choice for you. These headphones feature the same 45mm large-aperture drivers found in the ATH-M50x and feature premium memory foam earpads and a padded headband for extra comfort. They are ideal for studio and broadcast use and come with three interchangeable cables and a protective carrying pouch.
3D surround sound mode
The ATH-G1WL expands the soundstage with the 3D surround sound mode. This mode is best for gaming and watching movies, but you can also disable the 3D surround sound mode to get more accurate music monitoring. The ATH-G1WL offers three audio modes – gaming, music, and 3D surround sound mode. For each mode, there is a dedicated amplifier and DAC, so you can choose the most suitable one for your gaming needs.
Hybrid ear pads
The Audio-Technica ATH-G1 has a good balance between comfort and performance. The headphones feature leather and velour ear pads. Leather ear pads have a good amount of isolation while enhancing bass response. Velour ear pads are more breathable and keep the ear cups cool. They are also slightly more expensive than the M50X pads.
Clamping force
The clamping force of the Audio-Technica ATH-G1 is the amount of force that a headset applies to your head. This force determines how comfortable a headset is and how well it fits your head. It’s difficult to measure clamping force without wearing the headphones, so the only way to be sure if your headset is snug is to wear it. If you don’t wear your headphones, you should opt for clam style headphones, which cover your entire ear. This style will reduce ambient noise.
Price
If you’re a gamer, you’re probably interested in the Audio-Technica ATH-G1 headphones. Both models feature 45mm dynamic drivers and retro styling. Both feature a unique, futuristic adjusting mechanism. The headband is difficult to lengthen, but the ATH-G1 is comfortable enough to wear with glasses. The ATH-G1’s price is around USD169.

The Logitech G Pro X Gaming Headphone is designed to maximize audio quality in the game room. It has two physical connections: one is a 3.5mm port located straight down on the left earcup, and the other is a USB sound card. The headset’s port is permanently attached and terminates in a USB-A connector. It works with the Logitech G Hub software and supports DTS Headphone:X 2.0 7.1-channel simulated surround sound.
The Logitech G Pro X gaming headset is built to last and features a sturdy, metal frame. Its earpads are made of soft, breathable velour, and there are thick cushions on the headband. Its metal construction makes it durable, and the headphones and headband are also adjustable, meaning the headset will work for a variety of different types of headset use. It also includes software to compensate for the lack of bass and treble on some games.
One of the benefits of the Logitech G Pro X Gaming Headphone is its microphone. Its mic features Blue Voice technology, which enables the user to customize their microphone’s tone. Moreover, the headset also features a three-band equalizer, adjustable processing features, and noise reduction. Furthermore, the headset supports DTS 7.1, which is an excellent technology for immersive gaming. However, it does seem to be messy for now.
The microphone on the Logitech G Pro X is decent, but it falls short in audio quality. The microphone is not as clear as the mic on some other headsets, so it may require tweaking before use. The headset does not work with all games and it is necessary to install the G Hub before using it. It has a microphone for PC gamers, but it does have a good audio profile and is not as accurate as Razer’s BlackShark V2 Pro.
The Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset is available in basic black color. The headphones come with a leatherette ear cup, which forms a better seal around the ear and prevents sound leakage. However, the velour ear cups provide more comfort and support during extended gaming sessions. Apart from the G Pro X Gaming Headset’s Bluetooth connectivity, it also comes with the G Hub software. Some of its features include Blue Voice and Blue VO!CE.
